Through participation in one or more ASF committees, members have an opportunity to help articulate, shape and direct the organization’s advocacy goals, strategies and positions. ASF committees undertake advocacy initiatives in the following areas:
ASF offers a neutral setting in which relevant information, ideas and knowledge can be shared and exchanged between and among market professionals, all of whom have a common interest in promoting further growth, innovation and efficiency in the domestic securitization market. ASF members receive information and intelligence in real time on the most significant and pressing issues affecting the U.S. securitization market, including the latest activities and directions being considered and pursued by legislators, regulators and other policymakers.
ASF members receive substantial discounts on registration fees for high-quality, thought provoking ASF events, including the largest annual securitization event developed “by and for the industry”- ASF 2010.
The ASF’s commitment to providing its membership and the industry at large with substantive and timely informative educational programs is reflected in the development and structure of the Securitization Institute. This program is an industry-developed education and training curriculum covering core securitization market topics and concepts.
In addition to the major conference and training sessions, ASF also offers a series of “Sunset Seminars” throughout the year. Sunset Seminars provide brief but intensive focus on topical market developments and are followed by networking receptions.

Membership is also open to individuals who are not affiliated with any firm. Individual members are non-voting members of the ASF and are not eligible to participate in committee activities.

*Only individuals who are direct, full-time employees of an ASF member firm may receive ASF member benefits. Consultants, third-party service providers, and any other individuals who are not directly employed full-time by an ASF member firm may not receive ASF member benefits.
